Probably one of the greatest Polish contributions to humanity is our vodka. During the Vodka Tour you will have an opportunity to learn more about our national alcohol and about vodka culture in Poland.

Yes, we are one of the top vodka producers in the world and we are proud of our heritage. Do you know that the word wódka was used for the first time in the Polish language in 1405? We will track the history of Polish vodka throughout the centuries and taste six shots of very good Polish vodka.

In Poland, we often drink pure vodka with a bit of the juice or a small snack afterwards. Don’t try to drink vodka on an empty stomach! This tour is also a journey through Polish ‘tapas’. Five typical snacks will extend your knowledge about essentials of vodka culture.

In the course of the tour you will hear a lot of stories and anecdotes. You will discover what is the worst case scenario for a Polish gentleman, hear about drinking vodka in the communist time and the vodka war within the last years.
