Old Town + Culinary tour

The tour package “Old Town + Culinary tour” gives you an opportunity to see not only the most important places in the city center, but also taste traditional Polish and Silesian dishes. A stay in a country without tasting local food is incomplete. That’s why we connected both, history of the city and culinary tradition, in one tour package.

In the first part of the tour we will discover Wroclaw, a city with more than a thousand years of history, which changed its name more than thirty times. Throughout the centuries the city was under the Polish, Bohemian, Habsburg and German authorities.

During 2.5 hours you get the chance to see the most important buildings and places in the city center – the Old Town Hall, the Market Square, the Salt Square, the Pillory, the Elizabeth Church, the Old Prison, the University’s main building, the Ossolinski National Library, the Market Hall and the oldest part of the city: the Cathedral Island. These places will help you get to know the rich and complicated history of the city and find out how Wroclaw has changed in the course of time

After the walk we will visit one of the restaurants in the city center to fill up the calories, we’ve burned during the tour. The culinary part of the tour is a kind of journey in time.

On the one hand we will taste the German food typical for the city before World War II. On the other hand, we will eat Polish dishes, traditional and modern.

We cannot promise you that you will love all the dishes, BUT you will have a unique chance to taste the best of Polish and Silesian cuisine. We will taste ten samples of dishes & drinks.

The only requirements are an open attitude towards new tastes, food connections and meat-friendly approach.
