Currency in Poland
Polski Zloty, in English Polish Zloty (PLN), is the official Polish currency. Within the last 10 years there has been a debate on introducing the euro. However, the economic crisis, tensions in the euro zone, and the conservative Polish government make it a rather distant prospect.

You can exchange your cash for Polish Zloty (PLN) at money exchange offices (called ‘kantor’ in Polish), which operate all over Wroclaw.
Please note that the currency exchange rates at the airport and at the Main Railway Station are worse than at money exchange offices in the city center. In order to avoid the disappointment, always check the current rate before the exchange!
One of the best exchange rate you will find in Kantor Cent in the city center.
You can also exchange your money for Zloty at ATMs. Any additional cost of such a transaction depends on the policy of your bank. Payments with credit/debit cards are widely accepted in Poland.
